Veterinary
Assistants

Our veterinary assistants are a
dedicated group that have completed further skills training and several of whom are
studying to become certified veterinary technicians.
This group of employees performs many tasks including phlebotomy, radiography,
dentistry, and medication and treatment of hospitalized patients. They also act as liaisons between the patients and
doctors, often communicating with clients on the status of their pet.
Technician Assistants

This is the most numerous of the
hospital groups, and with good reason; they're sort of the worker bees of the
hospital. Their tasks include animal restraint, assisting both the Certified
Technicians, Veterinary Assistants and Doctors; providing basic patient care, surgical
preparation, bathing, maintenance of kennel areas, sterilizing surgery equipment and
keeping the hospital clean. And of course they're the real hands-on people, both in the
exam room when the owners are there, and in the back of the hospital when the pets are
hospitalized.
Room Coordinator

Bob is in charge of keeping a steady flow throughout the
hospital. He is responsible for weighing your pet and placing
you in an exam room. Bob is also in charge of ordering all the food in
the hospital.
