| Lavale Veterinary Hospital recently offered its female employees a private women's self defense workshop at Kickmasters Karate Systems, led by Senior Black Belt Julie O'Connor. The ladies learned a lot and had a great time getting out a lot of frustration while learning kicks and punches! |

| LVH recently had their annual retreat with a Survivor theme at Kickmasters Karate Systems. The retreat focused on teambuilding and problem solving, and a great time was had by all! |

| Veterinary acupuncture is now being offered at
LaVale Veterinary Hospital! Our early trial results have been successful in
alleviating pain associated with hip dysplasia and arthritis. All of the patients
enjoyed their treatment sessions, which lasted 15 to 20 minutes. They experienced no
pain on insertion of the acupuncture needles, and most of them did not even have to be
held during the treatment. As you can see from the photos below, they just laid
back, relaxed and enjoyed the benefits of acupuncture! |

LaVale Veterinary Hospital held their second Hospital
Olympics on April 30th. This year's event was held on the grounds of Allegany
College of America. Four teams competed in events and the overall winning team was
the "Fecalizers"! It was a day full of fun and enjoyed by all.
